Young Entrepreneurs Academy

Young Entrepreneurs Academy

Do You Know a Young Entrepreneur?
Have them apply today! Applications from creative, determined and enthusiastic middle and high school students in social or business entrepreneurship are currently being accepted by the Palos Verdes Peninsula Chamber of Commerce's Young Entrepreneurs Academy!

At YEA!, the learning is real. It's experiential. And it means business.
YEA! takes students through the entire business creation process -- brainstorming ideas, writing business plans, pitching to potential investors, registering with government agencies -- all the way to actually launching and running their own business or nonprofit.

YEA! is for young people with drive.
The Young Entrepreneurs Academy is for students who have demonstrated creativity, motivation, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Turn your talent and passion into a real-life business.

YEA! easily fits into your schedule.
YEA! meets once a week, after school, for three hours, Thursdays 5pm-8pm from November through June. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the class is filled. 24 students maximum.

Informational Sessions for interested students and parents will be held on Monday, September 19 at 6:00pm and Tuesday, September 20 at 1:00pm at Chadwick Middle School, Room 221, 26800 S. Academy Drive, Palos Verdes Peninsula; and Thursday, September 29 at 6:00pm and Tuesday, October 4 at 6:00pm in the Community Room of Peninsula Library, 701 Silver Spur Road, Rolling Hills Estates.
