What is the Peninsula Privileges program?

The program encourages consumers to keep their business on the Peninsula or with PVP Chamber of Commerce members by redeeming offers and coupons available only to Peninsula Privileges customers at participating merchants on the Peninsula.

When did the program begin?

The Chamber introduced the Peninsula Privileges program to local merchants, restaurants and businesses during the Summer of 2008 as a way to encourage local customers to keep their business on the Peninsula whenever possible. In 2010, we expanded the program to include PVP Chamber members that are off the Hill as well.

Is there any cost?

Peninsula Privileges program offers special savings and discounts to shoppers at no cost to the merchant or shopper.

How do customers obtain Peninsula Privileges coupons?

Shoppers obtain their FREE Peninsula Privileges coupons through the PV Chamber website (www.PVPcoupons.com). The coupons are under the Community and Visitors Info tab.

Can I still use my green Peninsula Privileges card?

Yes! Although the coupons make the transaction more clear to  the merchant's personel, the original green Peninsula Privileges card is still valid. Check for the current discounts/savings at www.PVPcoupons.com. Thank you for participating!

Where is the Promotional or P.E.F. Coupon?

PVPcoupons users interested in downloading the coupon from the Promenade on the Peninsula that benefits the P.E.F. should look under "Shopping Coupons" or "Click here to download the full list of Peninsula Privileges Coupons.". Coupons are arranged in alphabetical order. Once you have downloaded the pdf, scroll down to the Promenade on the Peninsula coupon and select "print current page". Occasionally there will be other promotions under our listing for Promotional Coupons.

What if I don't have Adobe Reader?

Our coupons are downloadable as PDF documents. To view them, you will need Adobe Reader. This is a free program that can be downloaded by clicking on the button below.

How does my business become a participant?

Participation is FREE to all businesses located on the Palos Verdes Peninsula in the 90274 & 90275 zip codes, whether Chamber members or not. Simply register your business (Merchant Membership Form) and include an incentive, value added offer or discount to encourage consumers to patronize your business on a regular basis.

How often can I change my offer?

Offers can be promoted and changed at your discretion at any time. Just notify the PVP Chamber and your listing will be updated.

What types of coupons and incentives can I offer?

Remember you are trying to bring in repeat customers and to get new customers to come in to your business, so anything that you feel will offer a good incentive to get traffic to your business should be used. Your business may offer seasonal sale discounts, free items, special discounts or special offers.  Merchants may suggest that participating Peninsula Privileges businesses are extending an offer to Peninsula Privileges customers that may not be available to the general public.

How will the PVP Chamber market the Peninsula Privileges program and my business?

Your business will be advertised in the marketing of Peninsula Privileges in the Palos Verdes Peninsula News and The Daily Breeze and will be featured on the Chamber website with a link to full listings of participant's offer and coupons under Peninsula Privileges presents PVPcoupons located under the Community & Visitors Info tab.  Businesses are encouraged to promote Peninsula Privileges participation on their own advertising and website as well.

What other marketing material is available to the merchants?

The PVP Chamber will provide Peninsula Privileges Participation Packets that include cards and promotional materials at NO COST to participating Peninsula Privileges Chamber members.
