Public invited to PVP Chamber’s FREE “Local First" Extravaganza Oct. 1
On Saturday, October 1, the Palos Verdes Peninsula Chamber of Commerce will continue its campaign to encourage Peninsula residents to shop locally, with a FREE “Local First" Extravaganza. The community is invited to enjoy free product samples, prizes and discounts offered by dozens of Chamber Members from local retail and professional service businesses, non-profit organizations and local attractions. Local performers will entertain in the courtyard. The event is a reminder that many of the resources, services and savings consumers are looking for are right here on the Peninsula. Guests can also learn about community resources, volunteer opportunities, and local job openings.
The Extravaganza will be held at the Promenade on the Peninsula, 550 Deep Valley Drive, Rolling Hills Estates, from noon-4pm. Admission to this special event is FREE to the public. The first 200 guests will receive a FREE "Local First" tote bag. Drawings will be held for door prizes donated by each of the exhibitors.
The event is sponsored by The Promenade on the Peninsula and Classic Tents.
