EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

Comprised of Chair of Board, Chair-Elect, Past Chair, Vice Chairs.

Assists and advises the Chair of the Board and may act for the Board of Directors when the Board is not in session but accountable to Board for any action taken. Pre-screens Board agenda items for the purpose of facilitating a more informed and expeditious meeting. Plans retreat agenda with Chair. Membership restricted to Board officers only.

BUDGET/FINANCE

Working with the Treasurer, reviews the budget and investments. Addresses any other financial issues about which the Treasurer would like input.

GOVERNANCE

Identifies and recommends candidates to serve on the Board of Directors as required by the Bylaws. Oversees the election of Board members. Works with Chair of the Board on recommendations for committee chairs and co-chairs. Manages governance issues including Bylaws maintenance, committee structure and other issues presented to the committee by the Board. Comprised of Chair, Chair-Elect, Immediate Past Chair, two Vice Chairs and two members-at-large.
